Replacement necessary?
I tend to keep old stuff. found in 2006, no upgrades: Felix bought in 2007, HDD -> SSD, Win -> Ubuntu: Dell Inspiron 530s So, what should I do? Keep or replace? Update June 2025, I decided to keep them. Felix is 19 now, he would need some replacement parts (joints, kidney). The Dell is now updated with an Ubuntu Pro license which provides security updates until 2028.
